Our Story

The Vitamin-C Foundation was created when sister and brother, Van and Vi Lam Tran, discussed the destructive effects of Agent Orange. The brother-sister duo decided that with the connections that their family had, they could make a change for the lives of disabled all around Vietnam.

In September of 2019, the Foundation visited it’s first of many disabled populations in HCMC: Trung Tâm Nuôi Dưỡng Bảo Trợ Trẻ Em Gò Vấp and Trung Tâm Bảo Trợ Trẻ Tàn Tật Mồ Côi Thị Nghè.

Vision

Vision

Cleaning up the past is how we move forward—by helping those with disabilities, we make way for a better future.

Originally, we focused on Agent Orange victims. However, after visiting several orphanages we realised that we were excluding other disabled populations.

Mission

Mission

Now, Vitamin-C is a student-led organization dedicated to improving the lives of disabled people including Agent Orange victims in Vietnam. We partner with reputable organizations to provide medical treatments, equipment, physical therapy, and special education to those with few options for quality care.
